A mighty wind blew night and day. It stole the oak tree's leaves away, then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark, until the oak was tired and stark. But still the oak tree hed its ground, while other trees fell all around. The weary wind gave up and spoke, "How can you still be standing oak?" The oak tree said, "I know that you can break each branch of mine in two, carry every leaf away, shake my limbs, and make me sway. But I have roots, stretched in the earth, growing stronger since my birth. You'll never touch them, for you see, they are the deepest part of me. Until today, I wasn't sure, of just how much I could endure. But now I've found, with thanks to you, I'm stronger than I ever knew. -- One of my friends just last week was diagnosed with leukimia just last week, this is my tribute to her, the poem is froma Hallmark card I'm sending her in the mail. Leukimia is a terrible type of cancer that targets the blood, she's gonna undergo intense kemotherapy starting tomorrow or thursday. Anywho, this is the least I can do for her, so yeah, I just wanted to share this with you all and have her in your thoughts and prayers. -- Your friendly neighborhood poltergeist, =Ghostey |

Your poor friend.
I love the picture and the poem. Very deep and meaningful. It does my heart good that you care... not saying you wouldn't care, just that you're a good person for caring.

One of my philosophies:
What is "Normal"? There is no such thing as "Normal", because everyone is different. But! If you think about it, it is "Normal", to be Diffierent!
